We started in the city of Thibodaux, Louisiana. There was scattered destruction from Gustav and the tornadoes that went through the area.
Many people in the area do not have much to begin with.
Stacks of brush lined the roads.............
We fed the people red beans & rice and.............................
of course, grilled cheese sandwiches.
We worked out of Bob & Bonnies food trailer which was very nice.
Bob & Bonnie worked very hard preparing the red beans & rice non-stop for two days.
We worked very close with the people of our military while in Thibodaux. They were a real blessing the people.

Pastor Don's new trailer tells it all "JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY"!!!!
Toward the end of the day the military started loading water and ice on our flatbed to take to Golden Meadows, Louisiana. We were told that they did not have water and ice there and were expected to be without power for weeks.
Pastor Don secures things and shows that there is ony ONE WAY!!
We were just about had the caravan ready to head for Golden Meadow. We had police escorts for this run. 
Pastor Don with the Police Chief of Golden Meadow who provided the escort. The chief is a Christian and was very touched by Pastor Don's testimony. He said "you don't need a hurrican to return here". The people of Golden Meadow were very thankful to us. They welcomed us to return to their city whenever we wanted and they would do anything they could for us. The mayor told me to call first and that he would cook up all the shrimp we could eat. This town is located right on the bayou.
We set up right in the parking lot of city hall.
This little town is very beautiful with all the boats lining the bayou. Please pray for these people because one thing they did not need was more rain and winds which they received from Hurricane Ike. Pray also for all of those who were affected by Ike.
We will be searching for a location that needs us most this week.

With around 98% of the people professing to be Christians I had this sign made. There is no difference in the way a prostitute dresses and the way the women that hang out at the clubs that call themselves Christians dress. The two signs will be very effective on Friday nights and then at "Ladies Night" on Wednesday's at 
After more than an hour and the future groom and his friends coming up everyone went into prayer. Many lives were affected for Jesus!!!!! 
Deb has been building a relationship with the young man in the middle. He is one that is very nice and respectful but he has been exposed to many worldly things that have his mind twisted. Hopefully he will continue to seek the truth and get his life on track.
PT ministered to this young guy that professed to be a Christian but when exposed to the Word became irritated that he could not do the things of the world and still be a Christian.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT..........This woman walked up to us at closing time and started telling PT how her and her husband have been saved for two years and that she had friends that came into town for the weekend. They wanted to go out and she had talked to her husband and he said that he would not compromise on his walk with the Lord. She weeped and repented for what she had done tonight. She said that before she went in she noticed the cross and felt conviction come over her. 
PT prays for her while she continues to weep and repent of her sin. She said that she knew her husband was also at home praying for her and look at what happened. Keep in mind, we did not go to her. She came to us and that is what made this so awesome!!

This was the "highlight of the night"!! This young man crossed the street and walked straight up to me and the cross. I asked him "when he was going to start living his life for the Lord"? He immediately was very emotional and stirred. He said "I don't want to talk about this now" as he started to weep. He stepped back off the sidewalk and started sharing with PT how his life was a mess and that he was going to get a divorce. He spent at least 2 hours with us and PT ended up taking him home and now he will be getting with this guy and his wife for counseling. The young man is also messed up because his dad was a pastor and has since fell into the world. We thank the Lord that he has made us the "divine appointment" for people like this young man. We thank the Lord that he has put us in the right place to be able to make a difference in people's lives.
This is what happens at the end of the night. The squad cars get behind the people and then they herd the people like cattle away from the clubs and toward the parking lot. This is a very good time to minister to the masses.
